Great - we're a team. Thanks for joining everyone. I think the international flavour of our team will make everyone else quake in fear.

Woooot so this is the Shooters Hideout huh? I'm a little warped but every time I think of "The Shooters" I get mental images of Spaghetti Westerns.

Hi Guys I'm looking forward to having some fun with this crazy game...ummm I guess I better get out and and shoot something...

the second release of the official team logo is on line, tell me if is better.

The new logo is much better - I like it a lot - bright colors, and the camera is more obvious. I'm looking forward to the start. Do you think this weeks challenges will be included (because I haven't shot anything yet) or will it start next week?

Hey teammates, I just found the thread. Thanks for having me.

I just PM'd Gennaro but now that I found the thread I'll post the gist of what I mentioned to him.

First of all, being the newcomer I don't want to jump in and start changing things. But I'd like to make a few suggestions since Gennaro pointed out to me the international composition of our team (which I really, really like about us).

We may be the only people to recognize this international composition of our team. So I suggest a slight alteration of our team name and the addition of a team motto.

Team ISO - - - - - edit - - - - or drop the prefix 'Team' and call us "ISO"

International
Shooter's
Organization

"Our shooters have the world covered"

Well, what do you think? No problem if you don't like it. I just really like the fact that our team members come from all over the world and I'd like to show that fact off.

Maybe you can offer your own suggestions or improvement before this all becomes permanent tomorrow.

I think that the first challenge will be the next members challenge, perhaps we can have a speed contest for mother day.

I like the idea of highlighting that we're an international team, after all Rino weren't to all the trouble to get us together from all over. I like ISO, very clever. Hmmm I wonder if we could put a world map behind that gun seeing as we're shooting the world, or have it pointing at a little world...yeah I know I'll go have coffee now.

What a great team I think I'm going to have to lift my game and I'm kind of hoping scoring doesn't start this week because I'm in DPL with a typically DPC unfriendly PS frenzy.

What's that about?

I'm on Team Suck yakatme and I looove TS, it means I can indulge my penchant for entering shots I like even though they're sometimes/often not DPC friendly. I've been known to deliberately blow highlights, overprocess, add grain and generally break all the rules. Then again sometimes the voters surprise me and like it. If you're not familiar with TS we're about taking photoes for the love of it rather than the scores, feel free to drop by the clubhouse we love visitors.

However I've ventured bravely out to join the more serious photogs and hopefully learn how to get those technically correct shots and I'll try really hard to behave myself, photographically speaking, while the DPL is on.

Don't worry about behaving yourself - do what you like. I've been known to submit terrible shots, too. Sometimes even on purtpose, but more often not... In fact, i have a terrible one coming up for the DPL initials challenge on Sunday (unless I chicken out and unsubmit it :)

Also - I'm fine with the new idea for the team name. It's cool. I know we've changes things a few times already, hope it doesn't get too anoying for our excellent Captain.

Nooo Shaman don't unsubmit it we can celebrate/commiserate our terrible shots together. And thanks :D

Well, it seems that ISO is accepted hence I change the name. For the logo I think isn't possible because is mother day and I must go in two different cities :)

Shaman don't unsubmit I agree with Wildcard :)

OK. You both asked for it. I'll keep the image in. I predict 5.2 or so.

Rino why are we watching the Haka? Do you want us to do the Haka before we enter to scare the other teams ? :D

In case someone hasn't found the private thread, you can click on "league" then "overview" and the link to it will be in the upper left corner.

OR you should be seeing it at the top of the forum activity

Thanks Karma, I found it earlier. I was just mislead when I saw "Official" in the title of the thread. I now have to remember to look for the word "Private" when looking for the right thread. Eventually this one will fall off my recently posted to threads.

edit to add...ohhhh! Now I see what you mean by seeing at the top of the forums. Nice spot for it.
