Not an outtake, but....

This is my original submission, which is basically unedited:

And this is an edited version, which I prefer, and have posted for sale on DPC Prints.

Would you believe me if I told you these were my outtakes for the challenge?!? All of these were shot in Moab on the 6th and 7th of this month:

Geez. No offense to your blue but I see a few here that I REALLY like. Looks like you had a great portrait session. How long did it take you to shoot them all?

Thanks! :-)

The first 8 rows (plus 1) were late afternoon / evening of the 6th. The rest were in the morning of the 7th.

And there were a few here that I thought could be strong contenders, but I felt the indian chief was the strongest among them, so that's what I went with.

and my favorite but didn't think it really fit the challenge...more just multi-cultural...

I found the Buddhas Birthday Party just surreal and not at all what I was expecting...

My Entry

Edit to add some more just in case your retina's weren't screaming from colour overload. I'm sure as usual I've entered the wrong one but it was the shot that most summed up the experience for me.

Bumping to share my outtakes and to solicit more outtakes from others.

Here are my outtakes. Unfortunately this event was held indoors in a very dimly lit room and no flash was allowed. This is why the images are dim and not so sharp. I had to use my 50mm F/1.8 on ISO 1600 with exposure compensation of +2.
