So, I am throwing pix in a hidden workshop folder so I can post pix into my team's thread without others having to see them. Unfortunately, bc the pix are in a hidden folder, my teammates can;t see the large versions of my pix.

What am I doing wrong here? I am sure the brilliant minds behind DPC have thought of this & have answers. Someone clue me in on how I can have full sized pix visible to my homies at Tea Soul Rebel but no to the rest of DPC.

Thanks in advance!
peace!

I don't see why they can't see them. I can see full size workshop photos posted in my private thread. You're linking to them via "Insert Thumbnail Link to Site Image" right?

Can you see the big version of this:

It's in my hidden workshop (not an entry BTW).

Just link the thumb in and it should work fine.

Are you just putting the numbers at the last of your image url?

Or trying to paste the whole link?

Putting them in the workshop automatically "hides" the photo, unless you post it in a forum thread with the image link (then whoever clicks on the link will be able to view the image, but if they just go to your portfolio it won't be visible). BUT, if you also take the step to "hide" the photo deliberately (select "hide selected" and that little eye icon appears next to the image), then the image is hidden full stop and no one will see it even if you post the link.

That's how I understand it anyway. Hope this helps!

Ok, so yes I am posting them as thumbs to link pic on site & no I am just putting in the id # for the pic.

So putting them in a workshop actually doesnt hide them bc I have to choose to hide them for them to be hidden.

Will try a few things & report back.

thanks guys!
