Hi,
The team scores I'm seeing don't tie up to my understanding of the rules.

There are two parts to this:
Team Member Scores - Each week, there are two challenges - member (Sunday) and open (Tuesday), to which all (DPC member) team members can enter either or both. The 4 best scores from the best 4 team members are averaged together to make the Team Score for that week.
Team Scores - Once the team score has been calculated from the team member scores, the team with the highest score wins that week’s match. |
So there is no way a team should have a team score higher than any individual score. Yes? |

It's the first rollover since DPL became local... What team are you on?

Example (yes, I'm trying to get my team points here), our DPL opposition, Click Click Boom scored as follows:
1) 6.3131
2) 6.2548 (only top score from this photographer counts)
3) 6.0550
4) 5.9643
Average = 6.1468.
And yet they got a team score of 6.4830

Equally valid point though - our team score is too high to.
And it means one DQ would change things pretty quick.

Yep, there seems to something we are missing or a mistake of some sort. Our team, Soul Rebel, scored a highest scorde of 5.7 yet our average is 6.1.
Team Hellfish also got a bump in their scores, scoring a high of 5.3 and ending up with 5.7

Agreed. Just know that bugs get corrected faster when a lot of noise is made. |

If it makes anyone feel better, our teams average was too low. And we still won :D |

Sometimes the noisy bug just gets it with the flyswatter.
There's a delicate balance to be struck between "the squeaky wheel gets the grease" and "you nag, we lag." |

True. But this is one I don't think the site will want around for too long. Thanks for the bump. |

Probably a bug somewhere that he will fix in the morning |

ImagineNation vs Patent Pending is wrong. Listed as:
Patent Pending 6.2963
imagenation 6.1562
But their scores are:
DK: 5.781, 6.2
TOM: 6.0048, 4.7235
EWO: 6.0147, 5.014
ARP: 5.7843, 5.6099
MRJ: 6.2619, 5.3699
NOB: 5.8191, 5.1682
Should be 6.1204
I'll check our scores next...
T8: 6.184, 5.7783
GRG: 6.5485
CRS: 6.0279 ,...
SMF: 5.8644
...
Our top-4 avg is computed correctly: 6.1562
But that tips it for us.

Not to be picky, but you never know, 0.0001 could make a difference between winning and losing...
Our team's average comes to 6.32715. The official scoreboard shows 6.3271. Shouldn't it be rounded up to 6.3272?

Was it 6.32715 even or 6.32714xxxxx?

Fixes pending. A checked a small handful of team's scores earlier today with the calculation method and they were OK, but clearly a few are off.
We don't call it beta for nothin'! |
