Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di for Canon

... for creating the DPL.

This way I got to know a couple of FINE women, the Harajuku girls, all passionate in their photography, beautiful women, inspiring eachother, stimulating eachother, respecting eachother.

In my opinion, that is the best part of the DPL.

Winning? Competing? No.
Friendship? YES!

I'm participating, ofcourse, but it looks like the challenges are not as important TO ME then the contact I have with my team members. That's what I meant.

edit to add: my current challenge is bombing though, haha!

As a PROUD Harajuku Girl (and first time DPL entrant) I TOO would like SINCERELY THANK the creators of the DPL (& my team-mates!)

I cannot believe my fortune of sharing this experience with the talented Women on my team - WOW!

This has been SO WONDERFUL and the scores are just 'scores', but the support, direction and genuine all round 'teamness' makes me feel like I'm getting more out of this than I could ever have dreamed.

its great you started this thread han ... it's so important to have gratitude .. and i totally agree with everything you and lisa have said .. i love our team & i reckon its pretty amazing that we all got together the way we did, and how we've connected on a much deeper level than just photography (of course 'just photography' is pretty important too (UNDERSTATEMENT!!), but in the grand scheme of things, people come first ... i also reckon we are soooooo meant to be together, so on that note .. another season with the harajuku girls ..... ABSOLUTELY ...
