Congrats, John. Another great interview! :)

Skip, you're a facinating man; but I already knew that. :P

Skip was an absolute riot to interview. Getting together with him just became a short-term goal. Fortunately, I visit Maryland frequently so look out for a short-notice DC GTG, maybe as soon as August! Skip owes me a beer!

Very nice interview. Great read.

ETA: I finally get mentioned in an interview and the link wont work. Just my luck! :)

You both did a great job on it, what more can I say. Skip is an inspiration to a lot of people here, myself definitely included. I wish you could add people to your favorites more than once.

Great interview! Skip, you're a legend - I'll willingly admit that memories of shooting with you (both sides of the pond) remind me to stop being static and shoot more motion! You rock :D

Oh, and you definitely would have been a 3rd wheel at Stonehenge ;o)

I loved reading this - just awesome. Here is my favorite line from the interview:

"You have got to shoot until you are at one with that camera, until your images become an extension of your vision and intuition."

Just a delightful interview by strangeghost who has the
talent to draw out and show many of the facets of skip.
Skip's one of the truly nice guys in this world. We're incredibly lucky to have him here at DPC.

I have been dipping in and out of the interview all day - so much to read, and it is all interesting! Thank you so much to both of you, Skip and John; I was in a real rut with my photography, but am feeling inspired and raring to go.

WOW! Insightful, thoughtful, thought-provoking, instructive, articulate, with just a tantalizing hint of Skip's real craziness showing through! Well done!

Great interview guys - took me 2 double cappuccinos to get through and it was SO worth it!

Good interview. Heck long but I like it.

Absolutely fantastic interview - one of my very favourites so far.

Every now and then I think about whether it makes sense for me to remain a part of the DPC community given that I don't enter challenges and don't post to the forums as much as I once did.

But it's people like Skip (and a whole bunch of others) who bring me back here time and time again.

A great interview (thanks John) that really gives some additional insight into the Skip so many of us know and love.

Skip, I'm glad that you remember your stay with us (including the Indian food), and the GTG so fondly. It was an absolute pleasure to meet/host you and our guest room is yours anytime you like for your next visit to London, whether it's part of a GTG or not.

Warmest,
Kavey
