This week Team Suck awards the OOBIE for best out-of-the-box submission to a recent challenge to boysetsfire for his entry in From the Ground Up IV:

To those that think (for a want of a better word) that the camera should have been directed upwards, just look at the shadow which is taking the picture; it's the shadow photographing the face of the lady. So, what Nick is telling is that a shadow is taking a "from the ground up" photo, but you can't have that photo, just this one. That one you have to imagine. That's how I see this nice funny photo. To me this photo is a play, that immediately swept my anger at people who vote, then made me smile, then made me think. Now I'm laughing again.
Now this is for making a shadow the superstar for making the lady in one of her, I'd say, private moments, a superstar. |
Congratulations, boysetsfire, for such a refreshing take on the challenge! |

I am happy to see this get an award, I ran across this one last week and left a comment because to me it was a brilliant shot that was missed by the voters. Congrats! |

It definitely was OOB for me.
I saw it once it was explained, but I just didn't get it 'til I read the comment.
Congrats, Nick.

I just wanna say congrats on getting the brown with a photo that is neither technically awful nor completely DNMC. That's an accomplishment in itself :-)

congrats, well deserved indeed! In fact, despite his young age Nick deserves an honorary lifetime award for his achievements in this category. |

Far out! Good that you were recognized for this wildly intelligent image. I think you getting the brown for your entry was a low point for the DPC votership. |
