The issue many of you were reporting where DPChallenge would freeze or hang after subsequent requests is now resolved. The problem was indeed related to PicLens, but in the end, it was my implementation of it that was at fault. I've taken the appropriate steps to resolve the issue, so if you're one of the folks who has disabled or uninstalled PicLens to get around this, please feel free to install or enable it again.

It's currently only enabled for challenge results, images, and search results.

First off, THANKS SO MUCH for taking the time to fix a problem that may have only affected a small amount of the DPC community, You are a hardcore admin Langdon!

So far, when in challenge results page and front page, there is no > on mouseover of thumbnails however button on the left does say PicLens Enabled. If you click the first photo then the > is there on the enlarged photo and you can browse the whole set via PicLens, but not from the main page thumbnails. I could really care less, I'm happy the way it is, but thought you might want to know. Also, I'm sure you are getting around to it.. .but enabling it in portfolio's would be great :)

Thanks Langdon! Now I don't feel so bad that I told people about Piclens in this thread, and then everyone said DPC wasn't working right anymore. :P Thanks for adding all that code too.

Well, those were the exact pages I tried and just tried again with the office computer and got the same message. Oh well.
