I'm looking for a camera strap that is easy and quick to remove from the camera but not too easy that it will accidentally come undone while wearing the camera. Anyone use anything that they can suggest, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I use the Blackrapid straps and love them. Prior to that, I used the Upstrap system, and also liked it.

Combine the Blackrapid strap with this Handstrap setup--fantastic

I have one from Tamrac that works well. Been using it for a couple of years with no troubles.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have to look into those. What I can't seem to understand is how there is no company, at least that I can find) that makes quick clips that you can put on your existing strap that clips and unclips from the camera in a fast but safe manner. Anyone ever heard of these or seen some they could refer to me?

I use these. The stretchy padded part really helps with managing the weight, and it has clips that allow a quick release, but they are solid - been carrying mine around for a while now and the clips have not been a problem.

Haven't seen a clip system that you can use with an existing strap, though.

+1 for the Op/Tech straps. I use the wider model instead of the aforementioned classic model. If you have a longer/heavier lens that you tend to use a lot, then the wider model may be for you, as it spreads more of the weight over your shoulder/neck.

Optech does a lot of custom straps, meaning businesses can have their name imprinted on the strap instead of the "Optech" name. So, if you see some "store brand" straps, they may very well be the high-quality Optech brand, but less expensive.

You mean like this?
I got it because I have a love/hate relationship with straps in general. Most of the time the strap isn't even attached to my camera because a lot of the time I'm just quickly pulling it out from it's bag and taking a couple pictures. I keep the strap in the bag for if my needs change. It's pretty comfy and the clips seem solid. Having said that, I wouldn't load them heavily but I have no problems or qualms with all of my lenses except the Bigma and my D300.

I haven't posted in forever but the rapid strap double is the best one I have ever used. I am able to have my d300 with a 70-20 and my d2x with 30 or my wide angle. Great for long shoots and the handsfree is the best.
My husband rigged one up before they came out with the double but this well worth $130.00.

I like the Domke Gripper camera strip with black swivel quick release.

I use the Blackrapid strap also. I love it. Only downside is it's a bit pricey.

Another vote for the Blackrapid R strap, I use my D700 with my 24-70 for hours on end with that strap, and have also carried the D700 with the 70-200 using it and it doesn't dig at all.

Another blackrapid R user here. Great strap though it takes a little adjusting to get it just right.

I use the Lowepro Transporter. Doesnt slip as much as some straps I've used in the past.
