If your area observes the whole daylight savings time time change tonight, please do so.

And then fix the clock in your camera.

Please.

Thanks for the reminder! I would have forgotten the camera. LOL!

Camera fix - thanks for the reminder as I would not have remembered to do that either. (Took me a week or three to reset it from European time... good thing I don't shoot on the edges of challenge times, eh?)

Well, there goes our shot at setting a record for DQ's in one day on Monday ... ;-)

I forget. Are we saving it or spending it tonight?

At 2:00 am it magically becomes 3:00 am, so you lose an hour's sleep if you have to get up at your usual hour.

Spring forward, fall back. This has served me well over the years. :)

Users in areas NOT affected by the time change should note that the challenge deadline will be one hour earlier than last week relative to your local time, since the DPC server IS affected by the time change.

This IS properly reflected in the countdown clock on each challenge.

So, I guess we are spending it tonight.

Glad you mentioned it, as Europe does not move for another 2 weeks. A few of us who leave it until the last minute to enter would likely have missed rollover.

Thank god we don't have daylight savings...or my curtains would fade quicker.....muuuwwwaaahhhhhh!!!!!

Done! Thanks!

So my camera doesn't automatically change over like my alarm clock? ;) Thanks for the reminder!

I thought the D300, like the D90, have auto changeover??

I never change the clock in my camera. If I'm ever at the point where I'm shooting for a challenge with only an hour to spare for that challenge, I deserve a DQ :P

Be careful at the other extreme (and time of year) -- I think if you have an immediate flash of inspiration right as the new challenge is posted, and run off to shoot it before the magic subsides, you could be stuck with an image dated before the challenge was announced ...

No worries, that never happens either.

Yes, I think so, too -- that's what I'm going to check to make sure.

That's always such a bad memory tool.

You can spring forward or spring back.
You can fall forward or fall back.

:)

Mine changed by itself. I am impressed!
That, or I never had it fall back :-P

Always having trouble with this kind of things, but I guess local time counts for challenge entries, so I have two more weeks to forget to change my camera time.
