First off I would like to apologize for how this situation was handled. A number of factors combined together to create an unfortunate turn of events yesterday. A lot of the information we acted on had been collected a number of months ago. We'd been trying to move forward on it for some time, but just couldn't come to a conclusion, because as you can imagine, some tough decisions had to be made. We ended up making a lot of those decisions in haste so that we could get the suspensions out of the way before announcing DPL Season 2. We felt that it would be extremely unfair to some teams if their members were suspended based on information we had had for some months. To echo Frisca's earlier statement, as I feel she put it best, clearly this was not carried out in the best way possible, and we'll try to do better by all of you in future.

I'm not trying to throw a pity party for myself or the Site Council, I just wanted the entire story be out there so that those that are upset about this could understand it from our perspective (as best as I'm able to describe it).

I think overall that this was and will be a positive thing going forward. We have already started internal discussion on policies for handling these investigations, and how to handle the results of the investigations in the future. The other thread will be locked at this point. Please keep the replies in this thread clean. If you have something you want to take up with myself or Site Council, please send us a ticket using the Help / Contact Us link.

Lastly I want to encourage everyone to please vote from their hearts without having things like this hanging over there head. More goes into finding buddy voting than just the votes themselves.

Thank you, langdon. And thank you for reinstating me. Now that you have a new procedure, I feel comfortable voting again. I will gladly discuss any perceived irregularities with the site council.

You do know Tranquility, NJ is within baseball bat distance of my house, right?

My intended post, apparently, has become obsolete.

In light of this, will posthumous be reinstated (if he accepts)?

Thank you for keeping the communication lines open....and listening to the masses (even to those voices that got heated; even though there was plenty of anger was elevated on both sides of the coin). A resolution in a bit over 24 hours and Admin communication/presence in the threads during that time. That was one fatal flaw I felt was not there at another site I used to frequent: Listening and coming to a resolution/compromise in a reasonable amount of time. Thank you for listening and I am glad that some good has resulted in this that there is a modification in procedures for the better. Bottomline : it will help the site and help the community.

That's the part that wasn't clear from the original post (either that or I missed it). I'm so glad. Thank you to Langdon and the SC (especially those who took some heat in that other thread). Sincerely,
