A tribute to one of the movie posters for Black Swan - I couldn't find the original photographers name.
Photographed in natural light.

I thought it might tank and 5.1 at 7 votes is a good indicator that I was right. Worth it though to learn what I did about using only natural light to light a model.

haha - recovered quite well.

The photo is based on the movie as the character turns into the Black Swan - it's also very similar to the poster as the poster was/is a good representation of a pivotal part of the movie where she transformed into the Black Swan. So I don't understand the comment.
I do however appreciate all who have taken time to leave comments. Taking a photo of a painting would be cheating so thank you Bmhutler for explaining what you meant. My model is very skilled at applying make-up.

"Taking a photo of a painting would be a deliberate attempt at cheating. My model is a real person who is very skilled at applying make-up."

I just was commenting that it looks like a painting (doesn't look like it's just coz the make-up, because the hair and tiara look "painted" too), I wasn't suggesting you cheated, was just telling you how it looks to me

I wish my shots would tank like this! Congrats on the top 10 with this haunting shot! (Perhaps only haunting because it reminds me so much of the movie!)

Quite good. Excellent makeup immediately reminded me of the movie. Super job on the demeanor and the redness of the eyes. 10

Fits the title. Like the color difference. A nice porcelain tone to the skin. I think it's a bit over edited, in my opinion.
