Like elements of a dream from the 1950s. Quirky fabulous.

I LOVE the paint job. Marvelously constructed scene, with a whole rest-of-the-play vibe going on. (And in my head, that play is totally irreverent.)

I'd love to say I'm surprised to see this near the bottom, but I'm not. This is a really wonderful image in my opinion.

This was one of my favorites in the challenge mainly due to the uniqueness and the longer look that it requires. Could be a coincidence and just three objects on a foyer table or could be a set-up for deeper meaning. Nonetheless, great eye.

Yes, this one is a treasure. Deceptively simple but so powerful, metaphorically veiled without the usual veils, you are a clever trousers!

For what its worth, I gave this a 7 and think it deserves a higher score.

This is really quite wonderful. It's like one of those classic plays (am I thinking of Ibsen?) that are much more than they seem at first glance. A simple stage, a limited cast, and a single motif repeated in a succession of layers.

Trinity within trinity within trinity; like nested dolls. And you can start anywhere ... at the crucifix, at the composition, at the aspect ratio of the image itself, at the selection of objects and their relationship to each other. Even the distance between the objects is significant. There's a layer or two of metaphor, for the determined explorer. Some questions left unresolved, some sly jokes (at art, and at the self) hidden in full view.

An immensely clever, delightfully wry photograph. Thank you. 10.

Oddly soothing, but conflicting. It must be the cross.

I can't know if this was found or composed, so I have to give you the benefit of the doubt, of course. This is an excellent and much-too-telling still life.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Fantastic composition, presentation and coloration - I normally have a real downer on object-based photographs (often a reflexive 1) and those with religious motifs. But I do like this. The symbology, the simplicity and the flat out confidence are all compelling.

Critical stuff: Not really.

Overall: I'm pleased to be surprised that I like this.

A very interesting shot. Partially painted wall? Looks like my progress on our bathroom renovation. I STILL haven't finished, and it's been way too long. lol.

I like the oddness of the photo. Nice detail and lighting as well.
