| Reminds me of the movie Chronos. If you have not watched it, I would highly recommend to watch. It is a movie shot in 1980's using timelapse technique. The climax shot has this kind of a shot. You have to watch it to really experience it. |

| Fascinating! Was that all you running around, or are the blurs just regular people going about their business? I wonder why people went both directions on the stairs, but didn't use of the escalators? So many good stories and a wonderful cloudy effect. Well done! |

Voted earlier, coming back to comment.
My first reaction, "Holy smokes - that is some demolition dust being kicked up". But then on closer inspection it is not dust - it's MOTION! This is a really cool long exposure shot. People rushing to their destinations, flowing down the stairs. They seem to burst into dust at the bottom of the escalator in the flurry of their activity. The escalator can be seen as a representation of life and life's journey. The end of the destination at the bottom of the escalator is where it comes to an end and where all life returns to dust/ash. |
