That unexpected person in the midst of the pastoral scene. Brilliant.

This image without the man would be nothing! Just a bit of good PP.
Congrats on the Jury Award! Very well deserved.

PS This could be misunderstood. What I meant is that the man is the key to this image.

I rarely give 10's and this was my pick from the get-go. It is art personified and glorified in my eyes. Fantastic. Congrats on your Jury Award.

One of my 10s - reasons why I like this:

Stand out coloration and processing, a wonderful country scene and the figure - tremendous.

I quite like the processing, the scene is nice but I think I'd have rather his head wasn't there, I feel like it's just in the way and distracts me from the house, which I'd like to be the main point of focus.

hmmm... i would have found it more like art without the person

I like how the layers work here and the grain is a quality addition. (just commenting, no vote)

quite artistic...just not sure about the head in the front...might have been better to not have it in there or, perhaps, more of him...still adds interest though (commenting only)

I do love this. I have no idea why, but oh is it good.

A fine watercolor feel to it, very old and classic. I almost think the pic would be as good without the man in the foreground.

Looks slightly washed out, but this could be complementary hanging on a wall with a contrasting tone.... maybe if we could change our background from 'dismal grey' to suit the image it would help envision this better.... good score for the art itself though.

I know it's personal preference, but I feel like the scene would be better either without the person, or with more of the person.
Other than that, I really like this.

Nice work, good choice to not ruin this with some garish border.

I like the color palette. I think I would like the image just as well without the person, although he adds a mystery element to the image. (voted earlier)

The head at the bottom is precisely disturbing and dislocates my whole sense of this landscape.

Voted earlier coming back to comment now.

Fillory...as in the book Magicians? I love the processing that gives this a warm golden hue - like it is a pleasant memory being revisited. In some ways it has a 'textural' feel that makes me think of a painting. The fields of gold are inviting to explore and the barn in the backdrop promises to be an interesting destination.
