 A very rare crystal formation with water inclusion and an air bubble (top right side). The piece is part amethyst (hence the purple colour).
I liked the 3-D impression this picture gave and the linear lines of the crystal.
I used tin foil under the piece to reflect more light through the whole stone. The picture was taken at about 3pm outdoors in full sunlight.
I used 3 extension tubes on: 13+21+31, no filters.

I loved this one during the challenge and still do. Great colors and I like how it looks like a world behind fractured glass.
