 Took this the first morning of the challenge, and turned out to be the only Sunrise/Sunset I was available for shooting (due to work and family events). I do like this, but I wish I had more opportunities as I know I could do better.

* Chromatic Aberration
* Combine 5 exposures in Nik HDR Efex Pro
* Crop
* Dodge the sky to remove haloing
* Topaz B&W Effects
* Export as TIFF
* Resize
* Sharpen Edges
* Save as JPEG

Love the road and trees in the shot. The sun "rays" are also nicely incorporated.

Nicely composed, though I would have liked the sun a little further from the edge of the photo. Walking to your right a bit would have placed the sun behind the tree, which might have created an interesting texture with the branches, as well as blocking some of the brightness from the sun thereby giving you more detail in the foreground, and more middle greys in the grass. On the other hand, that might have compromised the road placement. Tough choices we photogs must make.
