This is one of many shots I took for this challenge. Only this gave this optical illusion and I thought it was interesting enough to enter it into the challenge - no idae what will happen in voting :-).

If you are good at this sort of thing you can make the image "click" between the 2 subjects/backgrounds by focusing/unfocusing your eyes :-)

It actually is a cut-out felt table runner positioned on a red plastic lever arch file. The shot was taken outside in the early afternoon sun, hence the stark shadows.
Even turning this image by 90 degrees results in loss of the optical illusion.
