I hope the DMNC police forgive me for having some straight lines in the structure. It's a shame the architects needed structural integrity :)

This is the parking ramp entrance for the beautiful Monona Terrace building. Design by Frank Lloyd Wright, this wonder makes up part of the memorable Madison skyline. But rarely do you see shots of just parts of the building. So many people want to see it as a whole, they forget that it's the details that make it interesting.

So I focused on one of the most obvious, but also most interesting details. This parking ramp spins you 1080 degrees before spitting you out atop the parking garage. It's a little nerve racking to drive on, as you cannot see but a mere 20 feet in front of your car, and you never know who may be going the wrong way.

Seems of the outer skin as well as under supports are straight lines.
