This is looking down the vortex created by a magnetic laboratory stir plate in a 2 L glass beaker with a large blue stir bar at the bottom.

The liquid was tonic water, which glows blue-white with the two blacklights shining into it from the side. An additional incandescent allowed the use of a faster shutter speed to freeze some of the water movement.
