why not?, indeed
another time of day, maybe, (and having all the time in the world to mess about with it) or another extra long exposure thrown in there (if you're using multiple exposure HDR), could bring out some depth in the woods. That's only if your really, really want to copy the AA original, of course. It's arguably better with the light on the edge and the mystery behind...

So this was yours hey. It's really beautiful. You beat me by far as far as the comments go. I would rather have had more comments. I feel a bit sad and that I have only 2 comments and I just cannot understand why as my score was good.

Wonderful art. I'd argue it's not the endless clarity that Ansel sought, but I'm not voting and it's simply beautiful, so that's enough for me.

I upped my membership so I'm now voting. 8 for alliteration with art.

This is one that I kept bumping. I really like the strong contrast between the shadow and light areas - the leaves and reflections especially just seem to be dancing. I could use a bit more detail in the highlights on the trunks. One of my top 10.

Very good representation of AA's style for this type of immage. I also love the composition. The tonal range is magnificent with rich dark tones and nicely contrasted brighter areas. Bumping this to a "9".
