My baby steps in Expert Editing. There are 4 images - the horse, the dead tree, the landscape in the fog and the wings of a cockatoo which was too far away to get good detail but I liked the position of the wings. The idea of building them from scratch, as incredibly done by Christophe, would not even cross my mind!! ;)

PS I don't think this pegasus would fly - the wings are too small :)

Ps, if the Pegasus couldn't fly how did it get up the tree, just my observation!

Very nice idea Margaret! Some advice to improve what, in any case, is a good result: Light on the tree (it comes from the right, so you could dodge and burn the tree to let the viewer understand the direction of light). Change the color balance of wings and use the clone stamp tool to improve the transition between the horse and the wings. You could add some horse shadows on the tree. But at first sight it looks beautiful, so these are more than baby steps in expert :)

I found there to be something very appealing about this, Margaret. It, along with a few others, got my highest score.

Not sure about this it seems this landscape wouldn't harm a pegasus, since it has wings after all.

As a fan of mythology and fantasy art I am immediately drawn to this image. I like the idea, composition and tones you've used. Good luck
