| I don't see the harsh environment in this image. In fact, there's hope amongst these dead trees: grass, bushes, a line of foliage in the back. Also, your processing is rather peculiar to me, it almost resembles ripples in water (another sign of life). More emphasis needs to be placed on the desolate, "unusuable" nature of the land with your composition, cutting out the greenery ideally. Also, the image only being 600 pixels tall counts against you. |
