Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Wide Angle II (Minimal Editing I)
Camera: Nikon D50
Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 ED
Location: Varmvattnet, Sweden
Date: Jun 6, 2012
Aperture: f/22
ISO: 360
Shutter: 1/30
Date Uploaded: Jun 6, 2012

Taken with my dog Ino as unwilling model... he let me know he was very disappointed in having to sit still.

Two filters mounted on camera: Sepialight and Pastel. I kind of like the old school feel to this.

I so wish I could clone out that dust though!

yes, putting a filter in front of the lens is definitely legal under any ruleset. Well done.

No post-processing part from resizing, so it was all done with ye olde camera mounted filters! I hope that is legal in Minimal, I forgot to check... /sidles away

Nice and sharp shot of the beautiful dog. I'm not fond of the white balance/colors here. I'd love to see them true.

Also, I wish the shot were horizontal instead of vertical... to give the dog room to "look into"... it feels a bit cramped.

Lovely dog! Interesting golden cast - a filter of the old fashioned variety, perhaps?

Is that an English Cocker? So dreamy. Has the feel of 1970

Great dog! Portrait of a dog. Portrait orientation. I do see a vertical wide angle because of the sky and foreground. The depth-of-field is deep, which is good. Mighty warm color temp. If you used AWB, you must have the temp set to 6000 K or higher. Dust bunnies apparent in sky. You used a small aperture to achieve the deep DOF, but that caused the sensor dust to appear. At least this image gives me much on which to comment.
