I adore this photo. :)

I absolutely adore it.

It started out as this:



But it didn't seem wilted enough. But the vase just seemed sensual -- so I tried to have the wilted flower more wilted and following the lines a bit more.

Somehow it goes against the grain picking a flower to watch it die though!

So this is an ode to the poor, dead flower.

hmmmmm... can't think of a proper ode...

Ok -- the photo is the ode.

I adore it, too. It's gorgeous. I thought at first that the vase outline was a womans spine and bottom ;-) Congrats on the HM, Wendy.

the original was in the Rusted Challenge? .... well I think yours would survive rust exquisitely. Lovely composition, color, and shadow (even if it was desaturated).
