Thanks for votes and comments :)

First of all - no cigarettes involved in this image, Fabrizio and I are no-smokers :)

I'm happy with the very good comments and at the same time I'll reflect on the critics, especially on Johanna's - in some way they hurt, but they always teach something about our way of taking pictures.

Wow, soooo mean, Johanna. :P (kidding) - these were my thoughts when I first saw the image as well. One thing that may have made a difference is the James Dean photo and the fan - just look like they were pulled out and placed there for the photo. All that aside, the lighting and all the technicals are stunningly perfect! And the processing is spot-on.

No, Johanna, you didn't!

I think that every comment can show a part of an image - maybe this image can be considered as 'cold' and I'll work hard on this aspect of my photography in the next future :)

Lots of work - reminds me of a museum scene. Nice scene and I kind of like the funky expression and pose. Congratulations on the HM.

This is just my opinion but I think this is far and away the best image in this challenge. No disrespect to the ones that finished higher. Nice job.

nice feel to this but could have done with a little more processing to distress it or grain it up a bit, its a but too crisp and clean but a great scene 8

Curious if you used a cigarette behind the cup for the "steam." A very carefully crafted scene, and done quite well. I've a sneaking suspicion I know who's this is...

Everything works for me but the mans pose (and I'll admit that the composition of the frame is perhaps a touch too busy). I feel it's enough that James Dean is giving us the look. I would be more convinced if your model was reading the papers instead of glancing somewhere in the unknown.
