Although not completely irrelevant, I apologize for the title (sounds and fit well for this image), as the galactic center can't be seen within the FOV. The center of our galaxy where a huge black hole lies, would be (more or less) inside the center of the frame for comments, below and between the voting numbers "9" and "10".

Some details for the equipment, exposure and post-processing:
- GoTo Mount : AstroTrac TT320X
- Camera : Canon 1000Da (modified for astrophotography)

Hi Paschalis, and welcome to the Critique Zone!

This is a challenge - I have no experience of astro-photography so how to critique this? Hell, I couldn't take it, although I am inspire to learn how. Where is a good place to learn the techniques and how is your 1000D modified?

It is a lovely shot - not as clear as some of your others and with less obvious subjects but that is the nature of your subject here.

Sorry I can't say anything useful! If it helps, I think it is pure art, stolen from science.

Happy hunting,

Frank.

What is this? It looks like outer space, but its crunchy look hints Not. It could be the bottom of an old frying pan. I'm coming back to read your notes, hoping for an explanation. Instant fav.
