I like this one very much. I think the title applies to both subjects. As a certified beach bum 8) I find myself with that look on myself tons of times. Checking the water out, no floating garbage, no sharks, no jellyfish, check!

ETA: My only guess to the sub score, people didn't think it was street because of the beach location? a technicality as many public(or private) beaches in the cities just barely border the street(boardwalk). Others will say any public space works. In the context of this challenge , most people want a bit of concrete in the shot to make it count as street. I guess it's one of those things that can be discussed for ages.

I loved every bit of this shot. What brought to my mind in a flash was one of the last images from Raoul Ruiz spectacular movie on Proust, as the other side of the coin of different times with less elegance but deep feelings

I don't even have a swim suit like that, yet you captured me.

I don't like you.

I wish I could feel this comfortable in a swimsuit.

I like the composition and the colors but not a fan of the grain. I almost think this would look better with a landscape crop but you probably couldn't because of other people in the sides of the image. What would have been really cool is seeing the full reflection of the woman too.

10 from me.

Time to catch a ripple, that’s what. This is such a wonderful image that may not be getting the love it deserves. It’s normally hard to capture a story from the back of people but this image is a novel. The processing really appeals to me with the right amount of desaturation and wonderful use of grain. You’ve brought the reflections ou nicely too. Well done!

Back to bump - my pick of the challenge.

I really don't know if I would call this street photography but it's a great image.

Ha! I love the image... and the title... and hate the grain.

What now?

*grin*

I'd love to see it without the grain. It's manificent!!

I like this! The toning works, though not the addition of the grain as much.(commenting, none voter)
