This photo was taken in the French Quarter The Sunday before hurricane Isaac hit. I managed to get shots for the free study as well as a three other challenges and post them all before the power went out. Haven't had much time for voting.
It was a beautiful day that Sunday and is a beautiful day today. No damage sustained, just a bunch of branches and leaves to rake. Some homes in other towns nearby did get some flooding though.

Here lies evidence that I was speed voting again. I sailed right past this! It's quite beautifully balanced -- buildings in one corner, branches in the opposite. And a nice bit of turbulence where they meet.
