It was hard for me to comment on so many excellent shots this FS but this grabbed me for its simplicity and thus my simplistic comment Herman. Paul summed it up better than I ever could.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: Bold contrast here despite the exclusively mid-toned subjects. i really like how we can't see the line and how the shirts are unpegged, thrown over. The arrangement of them in the frame, the aspect ratio, the absence of highlights, the structure as form all offer us an opportunity to ignore the shirts and instead comprehend the night and the (probable) domestic context. There are shapes here - the notion of shirts is irrelevant - for the second time in this FS, I proclaim this to be an abstract hiding in plain site.

Critical stuff: There'd be no point - it would be an act of denial.

Overall: Bold and effective (for some).
