I bought a sock monkey.

I really think sock monkies are disturbing. Kind of creepy, right?

But I thought a sock monkey would be something strange, and I knew what I wanted to do with it. There's an abandoned power plant in Belle Island. Just the place!!

Belle island is a little more than an hour away, so I figured I needed company, and my daughter was roped into it. Bring a friend or two!

The sock monkey was a failure. He had no idea how to pose. He never changed up his facial expressions, and he complained when he had to pose upside down!



Unfortunately, sock monkey wasted most of my time, and there was only about 12 minutes left for green man.

Green man was awesome!!! I regretted wasting all my time on monkey, gave green man a cup of tea as a special thanks (yes, it's hard to see, but that's a cup and saucer), and we all headed home.

Sock monkey is jealous and pouting, at the moment, because of green man getting the gig.

Finally, when the photo was done, I had the hated task of titling it. I hate coming up with a title!!

Bingo! Let's see what the graffiti has to say. The graffiti on the left wall gave me my title. They're everywhere. I was so excited -- it fit perfectly! I wish we had more than 800 pixels. This would have been a fun one to have larger. :)

So bizarre, Wendy. Odd how the two top images are quite similar in feel and content. Congrats on the ribbon. And the really trooper daughter.

Ok my question is WHERE did Green Man come from???? Congratulations on a stunning photo.. you got me I about choked when I saw you did this! It's kinda weird for the nice bird lady isn't it? :P

Reminds me of a bombed out factory in a Call of Duty online map. The camouflage reinforces this, and the technicals are perfect. Great job.
