 This Plains Lubber Grasshopper is about 2" long and has been living on my moms back steps for a few weeks now. So far, he's managed to jump in the house, jump on my moms leg (freaked her out) and has recently brought another large grasshopper on its back... Hmmmm!

It's armor is just stunning!
