Collection: Portfolio
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix HS20EXR
Location: Clunes, Vic. Australia
Date: Sep 16, 2012
Aperture: 5.0
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/420
Date Uploaded: Sep 20, 2012

Constructed from one photo using the flip and blend method with difference mode. Because the vertical fish were on the outer edges and I wanted them to contribute to a Pisces like symbol, I selected the outer sections and repositioned them so that they were in the middle. After that Topaz b&w effects on one layer, blended in exclusion mode with a layer with Topaz adjust, then flattened. More Topaz adjust and Topaz detail. A blown out bit of a fish head was repaired with the clone tool and that little section copied and pasted and flipped into the corresponding heads. Filter Forge border, resize, sfw.

Truly admirable - the fish turning into a bee into a rabbit into butterfly - a true mutable sign.
Must be one of Bear's concoctions ( bear_music).

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

O.K. am I the only one who sees the two goat heads (for the bottom head, look at the bottom center half which has the head and the blue portions are the ears) in the center of this kaleidoscope composition???? After I get over the center portion that stares me in the face I see all the other textural details of the fish and scales. While it is a different and texturally strong image, I think it suffers from being a little too busy, but that just might be my taste.

very zodiac feel....idk what that means, or how to descibe it. But it feels zodiac-ish. Nice image

I like this idea, but the fish parts are a bit too obscure. If you had hand-colored the more horizontal fish parts, I think the image would be even more effective.
