Challenge: Norman Rockwell (Advanced Editing VII)

So, this was quite an effort on both our parts to get something usable. Riley had a crash course in expressing extreme emotions through facial expressions. :)

I paid him $5 for the shoot and told him he'd get another $5 if it ribboned. :) Worth it.

Regarding the one 1 vote - who knows - who cares. :) I do suspect it may be part of the balance of entering a subject that is well known - you may get some high votes for it, but you will also get some "penalty" votes. It is what it is. Helluva score in any case. I should retire now - I'll never top that.

The setup: Old PC (one of a dozen piece of crap oldies sitting in my garage) I put a sparkler inside it and that made it harder for me to get Riley to move in close - he was a little afraid. I also wanted the sparks to be at the tip of the screwdriver - I got a couple like that, but bad facial expressions. Went through a couple boxes of sparklers. I wanted to use my fog machine as well, but it didn't work. :( Maybe just as well.

Thanks for all the votes, favs and comments!

There is something magical about this image. In true Norman Rockwell style, you have captured it perfectly. Given, that it's Advanced Editing, were you not permitted to move the spark? I know that you tried to get it closer to the screwdriver, but could you just move it in post? Anyway, I really like it.
