Beautiful POV. I could not fault the image at all, till I read Paul's assessment. And it's true, the sharpness of the grit in the foreground does detract.
So a wonderful image, but you will have to redo the trip. Hehe. |

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Perfect POV, super-gorgeous tones and a really interesting subject - has that jagar sharp but glowy thing going on. I really like the burnt edges too.
Critical stuff: The foreground track is a bit sharp and crunchy for me; a bit of diffusion in this area might help to keep the eye on the action.
Overall: An excellent and engaging image. |
