 I bought some Italian glass bottles and some indoor fireworks (they last a couple of minutes). I filled the jars with apple juice and strawberry syrup and put them on my little table. For stronger backlighting, I put my bedside lamp under the table to reflect off the wall. I lit the fireworks and snapped away.
Only post-production was a pass through NeatImage. The bottles are shaped like that.

good use of color and symmetry. I wish the candle on the right didn't have the spoke or sparks at the top behind the red bottle though.
