This was so not what I wanted to do. I really, really, really wanted to do something so incredibly awesome for shadow, but I waited too long.
Then a hurricane came, but I thought -- I can still do this inside. No problem.
Had an epic idea.
Did a really simple test shot the day before it was due. Was going to do the more complicated shot the day it was due.
Nope. Really bad headache. Just couldn't do it. :(
But I didn't want to miss it, so I tried doing something much simpler, and did a number of takes on it. This was the idea, and probably the best shot.
I just really didn't like it. But felt too crumby to do something different. Started running a bath (tmi, hmmm?) and then I realized that I did a very plain shot of an apple with a pear shadow, and I never really even looked at it! Would it at least be a better shot than the forks?
Turned off the bath, spent 5 minutes editing and entered it.
Did expect it to make it past 6.0. Pleasantly surprised with the 6.2 and the comments.
Was proud of the title, though. Too many woman spend their life wishing for a different body shape. But when it comes down to it, we all seem to be apples or pears, neither of which we want to be. :)

| Nice. I gave it a seven but I wish the apple was not bruised. But then I guess our selves all have bruises in one way or another. :) |

| Nice lighting, well executed. I would prefer a better defined shadow and a bit more texture in the apple it seems a bit flat. A longer stalk with a couple leaves maybe. The marks of been hit here and there in the apple doesn't help much. I get the feeling that a different crop (maybe landscape) would have worked better. |
