Voted earlier coming back to comment.
Expression is mad and very threatening. Add to that mixture the overlay of a pumpkin shining through and you get one scary dude you don't want to mess with while walking in a lonely field:-) That said, I do have two critiques that would make the composition even stronger. First, the details/contrast in the eyes are lost and a bit dark. I would recommend playing around with brightness/contrast on the iris/pupil or if you have it Topaz Adjust to bring out the details. Second, there is just a little of the pink/red tones on the lips/mouth that are visible which gives that area a strange 'outline' that doesn't blend in with the rest of the orange skin tones that are dominant in the face. I think you just needed to make sure the pumpkin overlay covered that area as well. |
