I often mix you and Jagar up sometimes, I feel this was very Jagarish, and he would be proud of this shot!

Masterful portrait. I think the processing enhances our empathy with the subject.

Jagar is such a hard act to follow. I do believe you hit most of his style.

Subject matter and location are very Jagaresque. In all respects except processing it would be easy to think this was his. But the processing's a little too crunchy; he uses smoother, rounder tonalities on top of his contrast. He gets a lot of that by running a layer of "Glamor Glow" in Nik Color Efex Pro. You can also get close to it with a free Photoshop action called "Gothic Glow"... A 7 from me.

A very good emulation of jagar's image. Outsatnding b/w. Maybe slightly too grainy for me, but outstanding overall. 8

What a great street shot.

Excellent shot for itself, obviously not very close to John's shot (subject aside, in your shot: POV higher and more frontal, cool toning, more sharpening, more detail in the shadows, deeper DOF)
