Again the RBC building, after Venser's "Rectangles and Reflections", but not as good as his, nor any of my previous takes on this building, imo.

Should I have more time and thought further I'd have come up with a more creative image for that homage... Well, well, let's move on.

No, this was taken from the east side, on Bay St., just across the BCE (now Brookfield) Place. I was trying to get the very same angle you did, but I was in a hurry and it was getting cold too...
It was towards end afternoon, with the sun going down and just tipping the top of building in front.

An almost exact copy of Venser's ony ribbon. hmmm. The color temp and tint are different, but to capture this image, one would have to stand in the exact same spot with the exact lens focal length and shot angle. The building didn't move in the interim, but the knowledge of where to stand would be known only to Venser.

Same building, different crop or POV, different colors (probably different time of day). Overall good shot, not overwhelming, though.
