Aww, I'm gonna get smashed. (But I like it, so in it goes) This could have been Basic! No crop, just brought out some brightness with selective colors.
Used a hens egg on a bit of Halloween straw, and my trusty little LED flashlight on white paper in a dark room.
This may seem like a last minute entry (and it is) but I've been thinking about it all week. Here are the details:

Congratulations on the top ten - great lighting and I love the simplicity of the composition.
ETA I must be psychic. Edited before to correct a "HM" to "top ten" and now it turns out "HM" was right. Congratulations, Alice - beautiful.
