Challenge: You're Doing It Wrong (Expert Editing)
Collection: 2012
Camera: Nikon D700
Lens: Nikon AF-S Nikkor 17-35mm f/2.8D IF-ED
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Date: Nov 22, 2012

This was the shoot that almost 86'd my pinkie. The irony of it happening for THIS particular challenge is not lost on me... I decided to try to complete the project, even though going back into the studio -even 3 days later -was a bit traumatic. Thankfully, it went quite smoothly, and is comprised of only 3 pictures plus the bubble I created in PS. Originally I was going to be sitting on the floor, but decided halfway through shooting that floating in the bubble was more fun. I was able to camouflage my wrapped up hand behind the skirt.

The hardest part of all this was using the mouse for editing.

I'm such a dork. I really, REALLY struggled with a title for this, and it just came to me: Bubble Trouble!!!! Hey, SC, can you change it for me?

How cool is this - Jo, Sam and Chris hanging out on the front page. You guys made my week, your votes, your comments. Thank you!!!

I was a little late to see your note, so I changed your title for you! :) If you liked the old one better, let me know. :) You are a trooper for coming back to do this cute photo!

I gave this one of my rare 9's and wish I knew how to create a bubble like that. Sorry about your finger and I hope it heals perfectly. Mine did when I sliced the top off when filleting a fish - no bone of mine was involved though.

Clearly blondes do have more fun and are better at learning PS skillz than me! :-) Good work on the yellow, Johanna, wasn't it worth a silly little pinkie?

What an amazing job you did - even the shadow under the balloon looks right on. Sorry, your failure earns you an A from me .. which translates to a 9 in DP land.

edit to fix spelling mistake :(

Nice & nicely done. The bubble has weight & it's noticeably gravity-free. Love the petticoats.

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

The attention to detail is fabulous from the smaller bubbles on the floor to the soap bubble pastel colors on the edges of the big soap bubble makes this all the more believable. I don't know if it is truly a 'you're doing it wrong' when this could be a monumental discovery of a green way to travel:-):-)
