Challenge: 30 Seconds or More II (Advanced Editing VII*)
Camera: Nikon D300
Lens: Tamron SP AF 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di for Nikon
Location: Toowoon Bay
Date: Jan 2, 2013
Aperture: 8.0
ISO: 200
Shutter: 160
Date Uploaded: Jan 3, 2013

In LR adjusted clarity, exposure in sky, rotate, crop, reduce noise, sharpen, vignette.

I went to the pier to take this shot while it was empty. While testing various settings someone came and walked in front of the lens...I liked the result so spent the next hour walking into shot myself until I got what I wanted.

I'm thinking at least they are not alone.

I like this pic but I feel it could have more contrast. I like the composition and the ghosting but the overall exposure to me is a bit muted. Very nice photo and great concept.

Great depth and lead into it. Nice story. Cool.

This image had great potential. But it's extremely dark and the shadow movement doesn't tell a story. Probably you had to study more carefully that aspect of your shot.

ETA: there's a dust spot on the left

There is one huge problem with this and that is the shadow. I understand the concept and the subject, but the shadow just looks like a smudge and not the lingering image of a spirit. A little more definition with the spirit subject would have made this an outstanding image.

Love the vanishing point and the blur!
