 I like it when things fall into place. I had some ideas for this challenge, and even shot some. But they weren't wow photos. On my way back from an event. With my son, I saw this umbrella out in a field of snow. I image a gust of wind deposited it here, just in the right place for a minimalist style shot. Plus, the sun peaked out from the clouds a bit to give me some shadow and depth.

Editing for this was more extensive than I expected, but it came out nice. Mainly I brought out the definition and saturation of the umbrella, burned its shadow to make it more prominent, and slightly blurred the background to remove some of the rough edges.

Note, I returned to the spot the next days (after a bit of fresh snow fell) and the umbrella was gone. Don't know if someone picked it up or if the wind took it away, but I'm glad I happened upon the scene when I did.
