 Young girl sitting in a bus early morning in Sa Pa, Vietnam. She has this dreamy look on her face as she is looking through the window covered with raindrops.

Converted to BW in Lightroom and cropped, exported to PS for levels, curves, then resized, sharpened and saved for the web.

Danielle wiped away the frost on the glass. They day was cold and wet but still she insisted on sitting next to the window. As the miles stretched on she gazed out at the country and cityscapes, but eventually it all became a blur of 'sameness'. The train was limited to the places it could travel. But Danielle's imagination was not bound to any tracks leading from point A to point B. Her imagination could take her any which where she wished to go.

This is a new comment series for me, so please bear with me while I find my style!

This is one of my 8s - I like it quite a bit. Furthermore I think it enriches the DPC collective portfolio. Put simply, I wish we saw more stuff like this. Let me tell you why it pushes all the right buttons for me:

1. Like most good images this has a standout story. I particularly like how she has wiped the condensation from the window to look out. Who is she watching?

2. I like how you have included the black panel behind the seat, it adds physical context to the scene.

3. Great tones, you've balanced this very well.
