For a bird tog this is about as arty as it gets...
The VW bug was parked next to a Boeing at an airshow. I noticed the wing protruding so I went on my knees and angled the 12-24mm to make it look like Herbie had wings. I used the D80 (CCD) and the Tokina UWA combination as they are both extremely rich. PP to make it look painted. The 5 or less voters wouldn't know art if it bit them in the arse! :)

Any comment or critique; complimentary or critical are welcome and appreciated.
Questions about gear, technique etc. also welcome.

Actually I hate shooting standing upright, I'll lean, crawl, lie, kneel, hang, climb to get a different POV :)

Quite interesting, the cantilevered angle makes it so.
As always, [to your arty side's detriment], pin-sharp, and all in focus.

I do like the colour treatment.

This is pop-art if I'm not mistaken, and a very good example. Perfect for a 1980's music album cover.
