I loved participating in this challenge as I identify with the wabi sabi aesthetic and minimalist way of life.

I attempted to apply a Post Processing effect pushing the image more toward an illustraited look. I am aware some will dislike the deviation from a standard photograph apearance but the very sharp edges and soft colours are deliberate. I am hoping the losses I get from the people who dislike the effect are offset by the bonuses I get from those who do.

I agree with Tangy -- I think it's a little over embellished in the sharpness as Nikki said, the border. Trust your image -- it was a great shot, and could have stood much better on it's own a little more realistically. It was still a 7 from me, but I think it could have been more. :)

Huge congrats on your top 10!!

? I might expect the boots to be less tidily placed, but otherwise the ingredients are wonderfully "authentic" in my book. Congratulations on the top ten.

Tempted to bump and may yet - adore the scene, composition, tones, light. I am not normally a person who adds or subtracts points for a frame, but I really think it detracts here. Can't quite figure out why as it seems well chosen in terms of style and the jagged, torn look should complement the subject. Maybe I don't like it because it seems affected, an unnecessary embellishment to an otherwise perfect composition. 8 Voted earlier; back to comment.

I think you didn't trust the image, and sharpened unnecessarily.
