 A nice shot of the United States flag, run though the Kaliedescope effect in Paintshop Pro X5, the original flag extracted from the background, with a couple of stripes removed using Topaz Remask. A couple of stripes extracted, again via Remask, and positioned in their own layers to float toward the center. Levels, Unsharp Mask, Resize, save for web.

The title is not within the rules and actually... I think the extra words limit the viewer's view of it... or interpretation of the image. The viewer wants to be able to come up with a story on their own, I think, and not be fed too much. I've made this mistake many, many times. *sigh*

That said, I do think the USA is falling apart. :D
