This is what one of the glass negatives looked like. They are 3 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches. The glass plates have irregular edges and vary in thickness. I photographed them with a DSLR on a light table. In photoshop, I inverted them, converted to monochrome and adjusted the brightness and contrast.
