 Sweet! I get to cross off one of my goals which was a top 5 in an expert editing challenge.

This image is made up of 11 shots all taken in the daytime:
3 bracketed shots for the field, mountain, and part of the sky
1 for the kite/string, part of the sky (around the kite and string), and the faint mountain in the background.
2 for the person (me) shot in my apartment.
3 for the lightning.
1 for the spool of string in my hand (it's actually a flashlight with telephone cord wrapped around it.)
1 for the rain.

once you pass the novice (plastic) level, the kites become more and more dangerous until you reach fully metal kites with thin copper wire for the string.
nobody has survived to see what level lies beyond that...
